Hi,

I have previously wrote stored procedures for sql server, now I have to write them for oracle.

I believe that they are different - and I am unable to find an example on the net.

Has anyone got a simple example they could provide me?

Thanks

hey are very different, I personnaly would try to find a book that specializes with Oracle and SQL. It is hard finding god SQL references online.

I really do not know Oracle, but this is a snip of code from a book I use that showed the difference between Oracle and SQL.

CREATE PROCEEDURE MailingListCount
(ListCount OUT Number)
IS
BEGIN
SELECT * FROM Users
WHERE NOT user_email IS NULL
ListCount := SQL%ROWCOUNT;
END;
