View Full Version : phpmyadmin, Where do I see any orders in database.

Really simple question!

I am new to phpmyadmin, I've set up a database with 4 tables.
I'm about to make a test purchase but can't see where the database holds the info on the transaction.
Do I have to export to see any transactions?

Eg: I make a test purchase through IPN and the details are stored on the database in phpmyadmin but where it is?

Any help would be really great.
Thanks and sorry for such a dumb question :(

I think i've found that I need to make a php file with mysql_connect
that connects the mysql database to a php page?

Ummm...yes, PHP or ASP or JSP or ASP.NET or...

A database can't magically connect you with a web site.

Especially when it's not even your own web site.

Thanks... I think

I've learned a lot today, there is a place in myadminphp where you can see orders but because I hadn't had any they didn't show.
For anyone reading this that is also stuck in the future I can suggest using this site:

It allows you to add a customer without needing to buy anything (if making a store) I added a customer and it showed up in the mysql myadminphp (you'll need to add your own login details etc).

Now I'm on the next part! working out how the listener (inp) sends the data to the database.
