Using the following code.
Works good in IE, as usaual net 4.0 is the problem.

Code snippet in question:

Can't get window.status to work in net 4.0
Tried putting the window.statu code infront of the image display (src) but won't work unless I put return true immediately after it.
Then the mouse over effects don't work. Stops the mouse over from happening.
How can I blend the 2 together to get it to creatre the mouse over effect and display the window.status message in net 4.0?

<a href="javascript:void(0);" onfocus="this.blur();"
onMouseOver="document.images['About_Us'].src = 'http://www.proamrodeo.com/gif/menu/About_Us-over.gif';
window.status='Meet Our Beneficiaries.';return true;"
onMouseOut="document.images['About_Us'].src = 'http://www.proamrodeo.com/gif/menu/About_Us.gif';
window.status='';return true;"
onMouseDown="document.images['About_Us'].src = 'http://www.proamrodeo.com/gif/menu/About_Us-down.gif'"
onMouseUp="document.images['About_Us'].src = 'http://www.proamrodeo.com/gif/menu/About_Us.gif'; window.status='Meet Our Beneficiaries';return true;">
<img name="About_Us" src="http://www.proamrodeo.com/gif/menu/About_Us.gif" width="90" height="40" vspace="0" border="0" alt="About Us"></a><br>

it's better to use a function to do that:

function link(img,stat){
document.images['About_Us'].src =img;
return true;

then in each of your links:

onMouseOver="return link('http://www.proamrodeo.com/gif/menu/About_Us-over.gif','Meet Our Beneficiaries.')"
onMouseOut="return link('http://www.proamrodeo.com/gif/menu/About_Us.gif','')"
