Hi
I would like some help around building a special navigation thing that I have seen (I saw it awhile ago) and is now wondering if this is possible in FrontPage(of course it is...)

I would like to build something like this, trying with some steps describe what i want to do.

Default page built with "shared borders"
!------!-------------------
!LINK1 !
!
!LINK2 !
!
!LINK3 !
!
!
! --------------------------

When clicking on the LINK2 I want to have a line drawing like this...
(exclude the dots only to get the drawing right)

!---------!-------------------!
!LINK1!
!
!LINK2!-------
!..................!
!LINK3!.........!
!..................!----->
!
! ---------------------------

...and when I am clicking on LINK3 I want a smooth transition like this...

!-------------------------!
!LINK1!
!
!LINK2!
!
!LINK3!-------
!..................!----->
!
!---------------------------

I want the bottom line with the arrow to stay at the same level and decrease the horizontal line smoothly...

I hope you understand what I mean.

Many thanks for you help

Jonas,

something like this should be possible using a number of images, but you can forget about Frontpage's shared borders. In a theme, you can influence appearence of a button on a button level, so each button will look like you specified (only with different texts), but what you want acts on the entire menu, and i can't see Frontpage doing that.
I guess you'll have to come up with something yourself.

I beleive the best way to do this is to use a "onclick" javascript program and a animated gif
