Sending packets out different nic cards

Here is my question.

I wrote a program that receives/sends data on eth0, however, in unix is there an ability to say receieve data on eth0, and send those packets out to another machine on eth1.

Any help is appreciated

sounds like it should be possible. You have two nic cards? both with different IPs? and both connected to the same LAN? What protocols are you trying to do this with?
