mpg - windows media player

Hi,

Tried to find info about preloading mpg's and executing a javascript function when loading has finished. Couldn't find anything about this.

Does anyone know if this can be done, just like with images?

I honestly don't know the answer to this, however I have an idea that might lead you in the right direction, should it work. Have you tried preloading it as an image?

the whole:
preVid = new Image();
preVid.src = "test.mpg";

if it doesn't work, try:
preVid.dynsrc = "test.mpg";

dynsrc is IE only tho.

Just a thought I had, something you might want to look into to see if it's at all possible.
