Website critique needed

hey people, im new here, so i guess i'll introduce you to myself, and my website !

It's always the same with Flash sites, a splash logo and a pop-up window. I understand you want to give users all the attention to the site, but what if you put the movie in a standard window through a standard link?. Everybody will close the main (logo) window to keep just the other. I don't specially like windows without my menus so they don't live fot too long in my screen (they look like somebody I didn't invite to the party). Another thing is that with Opera, pop-up windows open behind the user menus, so in low resolutions, users won't see all the movie. Do you know what you should do? You should put two links in the main page, one to open the movie in a pop-up, and the other in a regular window. If you keep track of this links, you'll see people will usually choose the no-pop-up option. That's all about this.

The movie looks great, music very good, navigation good and colors and design very well-worked. Congrats! :thumbsup:

I have converted the logo image to gif without any apparent loss of quality reducing the size which it was 22,9KB and now it is 14,2KB.

I wanted to keep the site all in the same page, (when i finnish coding the forum, it'll load behind the site in the 'splash' page), But due to the background graphics, i think it would loose something if it wasnt in a new window. There would be lots of white everywhere, and people would say 'you should put that in a popup window ':rolleyes:

Also since it is a flash only site your search engine ranking will be quite low since there is no text for the bots to scan and index.

the word void is on the main page 5 times in text in white so you cant see it. I can put more stuff in there if i want, what sort ofthings should i do to improve website ranking, without sticking dirty great banners everywhere ?

I've got to agree with Eskimo, Im a Flash developer and I can't stand pop-ups either.

I think you'll find that there is a general association between pop-ups and ads...

...and this isn't helped by the pop-up ad for your host upon entering your site.

the pop-up ad they speak of is coming from your site redirection service ".tk"... to disable this popup go http://my.dot.tk and login. then go to My Marketing near the bottom and disable the popup. It gives the site a much more professional look not havin an ad thrown at the visitor... i also use .tk (www.stateofidleness.tk) I also used to make strictly flash sites but SEO is much harder that way... putting text on your main page that is not visible can also get you penalized by some SE.
