Hi Guys,

When pre-loadig images is it necessary to name each image or can I use wild cards such as //images/*.*

Your comments are greatly appreciated.

you may use something you call "wild-cards", but you have to define them as strings. Anyway, you can not use * because * is an math operator...

You have to create one Image object per image, and then specify the src of that Image object. JavaScript has no built-in filesystem handling properties, it only makes requests to the server through the html engine. This means you must ask for a specific resource - ie image file - at a time. So, no you can't use wildcards. Not unless you're using js locally at least, where you can use the Windows Scripting objects for it.
