Is it possible to disable JavaScript in IE6?

NO. Javascript has no access to browser settings.

I thought I read some where about disabling JavaScript to get past a JS passworded page. I wanted to use one but from what I read, it's to easy to get past it.

In your browser:
Tools / Internet options
In Security tab: Click on personalized level and scroll down to script.

In not sure about the names in english - I'm using a portuguese IE-version.

whatever I'm trying to do isn't working, lol. From the things I've read, lead me to believe that Java could be turned off, which I thought would "disable" the scripts. What can I say. I'm a rookie.

Well Java and Javascript are two entirely different animals, the names are the same (nearly) only for the purpose of confusing the innocent.
