Hey, i know as a first post it'd be kinda rude to ask for something.. hoever when this was the WA forum(i think it was... cant remember too long ago) you guys were always very friendly to myself and everyone asking for help, so i guess i'll stop the brown nosing and continue :P.

im looking for a perl preferred form script which after the information is submitted it creates an HTML file based on a template, and i'm looking for it to create 1 page per form... i got about 60-90ppl that will need to fill this out and since my server dont have a database, im guessing out putting to a HTML/SHTML file is the best route.

any help with this would be greatly appreciate.

and thanks for any help btw.

Does it have to be in Perl? Why not PHP? :D

For perl stuff on that you can look through here:

http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/Homepage_Communities/

of course I did just recently write a script in PHP for someone that does almost exactly what you want here......

Hey! Go play in your own forum, Spooter! This is PERL, not PHP (and yes, I too think PHP is better, but hands off my forum and your dastardly attempts at conversion!)

to be frank with yeh. CGI is only preferred because i know my host does not support MySQL, and all the form processors ive seen have been required to use MySQL... which isa bummer.

but if there is a PERL/PHP script that doesnt use MySQL databases, and can output to a single file each submission, then ffs, link me up baby.

as for the link provided, ima check it out asap. :-) thankyou very much thus far :-)
