Interesting string of articles on seperating style from content, or structure, or whatever, on WaSP (http://www.webstandards.org/):

Heh, separating presentation (style and to some extent behavior) from structure and content is the general direction. The next step would be to separate structure from content, structure from behavior, and style from behavior...
