Anyone know an easy way to lock your individual pages from people trying to view the source??

Plus, anyone in the Peterborough area wanting to be involved in the creation of an online game?

I await response with itching fingertips!!!

Welcome here.

No. It's even impossible to do that. There is a sticky about it at the top of this forum, which goes into it in quite some dept http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4437

hey 'newbie needing help' ;)

If you had browsed the boards before posting, or just looked at the sticky-ones on this very category, you would have found your answer!
Sticky: Protecting your source code (http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4437)

When it comes to disable the right.click, I understand that some would want to do that, but many users [myself included] like to open links in new windows, or tabs if you are on Mozilla/Opera. And In Mozilla for example, there is options where you can allow or not allow javascript to do stuff, or even turn it off completely.

Remember that it is never wrong to use the searchengine before you post, in fact, many times the answer is already there, you just have to find it :)

btw, welcome aboard!

As mentioned in the afore mentioned sticky, there is no real reason to want to hide your source code anyways.

thanks all, but I get the message, said i was a newb. Like I know what I am doing, just trying to learn. I would explain more, but I am pretty sure no one really cares. Later. Presumeably I will be made more welcome when I know what I am talking about, eh.

Who knows?

PS To the useful responses - serious thanks!

No need to worry about your welcome, it's just that this board has been around long enough that you can mine it's existing content for a lot of good information and that can save you a lot of time waiting for an answer. We're just trying to point that out to newbies a little more since it can be a real time saver. Most newbies are just like us and jump in without reading the instructions :D.
