Well, we all know about cross-browser functionality of webpages...so i'm not sure how to put this...but, I always seem to have a problem with my webpages when I "transfer" (via Nero cd burning) them from Windows 98 to WindowsNT/2000 (and maybe XP too). Most of the time it involves having missing links and images...but more recently, the scripts (dhtml & java) just gets screwed up :(
Any quick tips, or hard and fast rules when coding (or is it a burning issue?) them in the first place...to avoid or at least minimize them later on?
How can I run the webpages on a cd seamlessly across different OSes?
Another thing, is that I most often end up transferring them to hardrive & re-scripting them on WinNT/2000 and the damn auto file protection gets me all messed up
