Getting into Google

Ok, so I did the Google webmaster tools, I had google verify my acct and even had it 'crawled' by google. But still when I type into google the name of the gym i built a website for and it doesnt come up. It's been 2 weeks or so. I have Description, and Keywords in it and done properly. Do I just need to keep waiting or did I miss a step in this process?

Im just trying to get it up on google so peeple can see it when they search for it? the website is crossfitsumter.com if that helps any.

first of all googleBot ignores meta keywords.
what's important is contents of your page(and you don't have that much of it).
basicaly if you're going after some keywords you use them in your page.
the more RELEVENT contents you have the better.
having links to your site from established sites helps a lot too ;)

What you exactly type in Google ? I type crossfitsumter and it was on 1st result and when i typed crossfit sumter then it was on 5th result.
