POP UP - how do you return to where you left main window?

Using a pop up for pikkie blowups of info.

Thing is when the pop up opens the main page that activated the pop up reloads and jumps to the top. I need it to stay where it is.

Any Ideas?

Can you post your code or provide a link? We need to see that to determine what your problem is.

add ;return false in the event, after the calling of the function that open your pop-up.

something like

<tag onclick="functionpopup();return false">

Or, if you're using an <a> tag to do it, you could either add an href="" (empty) attribute, or <a href="#top"> attribute. (You'd need to declare top by putting <a name="top"> around an element at the top of your page also)
