How to Create Letters & Numbers from Images?

Know of any programs that does this? I have Paintshop Pro and Microsoft Image Composer but I havent figured out yet how to shape letters and/or numbers from image files...

Note: I still need the letters and numbers as image files not fonts...

Yey! I figured it out! :p hehehehe....so simple really...

Ok for those who'd care to know....

1. Open Powerpoint (yup, good ole ppt)
2. Select WordArt - Create a Word or letter or numbers
3. Right-click and select Format then Fill --> Picture tab
4. Voila! Cut and paste... I think you get the idea... :D

Although...I am still open to those who have another way of doing it...
