wordpress VPS installation

im having an issue with installing wordpress on my vps

i upload the files but nothing shows up???

i have a vps with 123-reg with CentOS 6.2 and after i upload the files via ftp i go to the url where i put the files but nothing shows up?

any advice? i was thinking it was issues with file permissions

Can you log into your site using FileZilla (a free FTP program)?
Try that and see if the files are really there.

I assume you have PHP/MySQL already installed and enabled.
That is probably automatic with a VPS.
