Hi,
I want to create a web form that pulls in part of it's data from the information in an XML RSS feed.

Ideally the RSS feed would be displayed in a readable list and each entry selectable. When the RSS entry is selected it will bring in the XML data and automatically enter in into the various fields on a form. The form would also have other fields that would be unrelated to the RSS feed.

Is that achievable by modifying and adjusting scripts that exist? Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

It can be done easily with PHP.

Show me a link to the RSS feed (XML file),
and then show me a form where data needs to go,
and what data goes where.

It isn't hard. You can use either Ajax - send the selected feed data to the server, get the server to parse it and send the data to be filled into the fields. use javascript to fill in the data.

or this can be done totally on client side as well. Use some javascript based RSS parser if you want to do it on client side.
