How To Add A Social Share Buttons In Sidebar

Hello everyone,

I have a small request I am trying to add social share buttons to my Wordpress blog I know it is much easier by using plugins but plugins are quite dangerous to use and it increase page load so I want to add it manually. I tried all the ways but my CSS is quite weak I am unable to align that in vertical shape.

One more thing if it is possible I want my social share buttons like Mashable.com or Techcrunch.com their buttons are quite different from official buttons.

Remember though - they are very resource intensive, so don't put too many on one page.

I have the codes for buttons but I am unable to align it in vertical and these are official buttons I am looking for the Mashable or TechCrunch one's.
