Hi,

I've taken over a site for a friend doing her layout & Maintenance.

She is hosted with Homestead (UGH what a pain) and domain is registered with register.com

Homestead doesn't seem to have a DNS code that I can plug into register.com

Register.com charges for URL forwarding

Could I host her HOMEPAGE on my server so that I can plug in my DNS code into register.com for that "specific" page?

Looking for a way around using Register.com s First Step Site homepage that she had to use.... its UGLY

And I can't FTP a new site to register.com to use as a homepage.....

Frustrated

If it is your server, not a hosts, then yeah you can do that.

Does each page have its own DNS address? And how would I find out what it is?
