For some reason, everybody seems to think they MUST HAVE a website.

A website for a service company (not selling tangible things online)
is really nothing that anyone will need to use. The only thing that
people need to have is a phone number to call.

In most cases, for businesses like that, I recommend they don't even
create a website ... in my opinion, it's a waste of money. I would spend
the money to get my business name and phone number listed on other
city commerce sites. Their business is very "local specific".

For what they are paying to have a website created and hosted,
they would be way better off spending that money on doorknob
hangers (house to house ads with their name and phone number).
Or maybe a magnetic letter opener people can stick to their
refrigerator ... with the company logo, name, and phone number.

Or even better yet, a plastic "sink snake" with their phone number
embossed on it. Give them away as advertising.
