I really like these two slide presentations

Anyone have an idea as to how these are done?

I don't immediately recognize anything similar between them, they're both Javascript driven, if that's what you mean? They're pretty simplistic ones IMO.

There isn't anything similar about them, I just like the functionality. I don't know JavaScript well at all so I wasn't able to determine that's what was driving them. Thanks for the insight. I'll try to dissect and see if I can accomplish anything similar.

The simple way to check: right click on the slideshow. If the Flash actions menu comes up (pause, play, zoom, w/e), its flash. Otherwise, its almost definitely Javascript.

Good call. Is there a way to know if it's JavaScript and Jquery or plain JavaScript?

I know I can look for the reference to the Jquery library in view > source, but how do I know that is specifically affecting the slideshow and not there for something else on the page?

By reading the Javascript and see if it references the slideshow code.
