Hi people, hope your good.

I'm having problems getting my content to appear next to my menu.....

look here
http://gandhiproductions.herobo.com/...o-options.html

the black arrows should be next to the first menu option (portfolio), but it appears below the menu.... is this to do with the "inline-block"??

I added this

#content{
height: auto;
float: left;
display:inline;
position:absolute;
top:100px;
right:650px;
}

But now if i resize the window everything goes wrong!!! HELP!

any help would very much appreciated.

Gandhi

I think i've solved the above problem BUT......

help!!!

have a look at this http://www.gandhidesign.com

But i'm wondering why this page won't load properly in IE7/8 (i'm on a mac and finding hard to check these things), i'm not sure where the problem is.........the first page has a java image slider (to display the projects) but is seem quite broken in IE7/8 BUT i've used the same java slider on the other pages in this website and they appear fine (see gandhiproductions.herobo.com/...lovefilth.html)

I think it something very simple, like i've left a piece of code thats not needed anymore but i can't figure it out....

can you help?

thank you

Gandhi

the mistake you have done is you havent described the width of the menu
then only your will work in the browser for more information visit [spam])

Ignore this nonsense...

Your page looks fine in IE8 to me, but IE7 is throwing a js error, on line 28 of your page:

<script type="text/javascript">
$(function(){
$('#slider1').bxSlider({
auto: true,
controls: true,
pause: 10000,
randomStart: true,
});
});
</script>

I think IE7 is falling over because of the trailing comma in your slider settings. That is resulting in the slider not being properly set up, with the result you see.

PS: 'Branding for their events' - sorry, I'm a bit OCD about spelling....

on this site i really what the twitter feed to appear on the right on each page, with the content interchangeable inbetween the menu and the twitter feed, but i'm struggling to keep things in place, currently i'd like to have different types of content ranging from standard div's/imgs to a java image slide show and an Iframe.......

if you could advice/help me on keeping things in place that would be awesome!

thank you again SB65 your a legend!
