how do i change the color of the title/alt attribute? like, you know when you put your mouse cursor over an image or text and there will be a box that pops up and gives you a description of somesort telling you something...

it comes out as default [ beige/tan background with black text ], how would i go about to changing it to like a [ green background with white text ] or any color for that matter...i know you can do it, i just don't remember how...help plz

Right-click on your desktop and select "Properties" from the pop up menu. Select the "Appearance" tab of the dialog and then "ToolTip" from the "Item" select menu. From there you can control the background color, text color, font face, font size and display properties of the tooltip.

If you want to be able to control any of those items from Javascript you've got to write your own alternative tooltip code or pick any one of the hundreds that've already been written.

i hate to be picky, but is there another site that does that? i mean, i want to be able to read the code LOL, cause this one is all ****ed up looking and its TOO time consuming to decipher it...so if you know another one that'd be great!

Since it was a bit vague I gave instructions for either possibility and Vladdy nicely gave up a link to what's probably the best or close to the best of those hundreds of possibilities (definitely better than the one I wrote :) ).
