how do u make a online user counter??

someone told me that you can make an online user counter using php. :rolleyes:
any way, i was woundering what the code would be, is there any good sites that provide a tutorial on this? And i dont want to use a free one because you have to link back and everything...

Writing an accurate on-line counter is not realy easy. I'm quite sure one of these 200 scripts /classes will be free and without backlinking

mb you can try to download users counter (http://www.innovativetechnologyconcepts.com) which I made. It's a simple php script allowing check a number of online users. You can easily customize this script to match with your template.
