I've WinME.
Is there a way I can change what character is displayed for certain keys? For example;
Change: ' (standard appostrophe)
with this: ’ (corrected, Alt+0146, appostrophe)
I thought there was a way, but I find nothing on my computer to change this...
I'd also be interested in “ and ”, vs "

is this for web pages or just having the actual keyboard always use different keys. For webpages you can use JS to have the keys programed to different characters. For the "all the time" case, you might try seeing what the registry has, its probably in there somewhere.
oh, and if you do find out, I want to know too.

well, I looked around and a found something that you might try. It was designed for windows 95, its called Kernal Toys. You might look that up. Also, when your looking around, you want to search for "keyboard mapping" cause what you are trying to do is remap the keyboard. Thought that might help you on your quest.
