Hi how do you stop IE loading in compatibility view

I tried this but it wont work


IE 7:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" value="IE=7">
IE 8:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" value="IE=8">
IE 9:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" value="IE=9">

I don't think that is possible. Only the user can decide that in his browser settings.

All advice is supplied packaged by intellectual weight, and not by volume. Contents may settle slightly in transit.

Yah, compatibility mode is a client side setting... you can't prevent it any more then you can stop a user from disabling javascript.

Why would you want to disallow compatibility mode anyway?
