What is PHP-NUKE??

PHPNuke is a strange case. Although it's immensely popular, the PHP developer communities stance towards it isn't that good. It had a reputation of being buggy and inefficient, and the original PHPNuke project branched out in many different sections... PostNuke, Xaraya... I don't have the overview.
