How do I get my extensive collection of IE6 favourites, which are currently grouped into folders and accessed via the 'links' bar, into Mozilla1.3?

I know where IE keeps favourites .url files, but not where Mozilla keeps bookmark .html files.

I can import bookmarks into Mozilla, but only one at a time and again, it wants .html rather than .url files.

I don't mind copying my favourites folder and ren *.url *.html but where do I put that folder?

Cheers...

Ooh! I know the answer to this one, because I just did it the other day.

First, go into IE and click File | Import and Export
It gives you one fo those Wizard interfaces.
Click Next and select Export Favorites.
Click Next and then choose which ones you want to copy.
Select Favorites to copy the whole thing.
Click Next and it will ask you where you want to copy it all to. This will copy the whole thing in an html file and you can set any target destination you want.
Then in Mozilla, click on Bookmarks | Manage Bookmarks and select Tools | Import... and then just choose the file you just saved to.
Ideally, you'd want to save your Favorites file to the Mozilla directory, so you might wanna see where that is first, but it's totally up to you.
I had problems in transporting one solitary folder from the Favorites and ended up Exporting it by itself and then importing it. As long as you name it something else, Mozilla just keeps importing and doesn't overwrite.
Good luck!
