I need help Installing Windows ME on new computer

Hi ive just built my own computer and am trying to install windows ME from the dos prompt but am haveing a hard time navigating through it so far ive been able to creat a partition and format the drive but from there im quite lost since theres no help file for it and i dont have any of the books that came with the cd...can anyone help me out? any help is greatly apreciated.

What are you booting from? If you are booting from an emergency disk it should load the drivers for the CD-ROM drive, so then you just type D: or whatever the drive letter is. Then once it changes to that drive, with the Windows ME CD in. Then just type "setup" and it should load.
