Is there a way to view file extensions in windows xp? I just had to reinstall everything. In 98, you can view the dos name and extension in properties. The only way for me to properly find an extention in xp is through dos. It's so stupid. "is that a mp3, a wav, or maybe its not even a music file because its a winamp skin" (all the same icon). Is there a way to fix this bug? Its not in folder options.
