Quick question yes or no

First, I know this isnt a unix/shell scripting forum, but most posts here and I'd like a quick answer

returning a value from a function in shell scripting, is it true that you can only return integers? or can I return strings aswell?

You should have posted this in the Other Server Side Issues forum or the Computer Programming forum. In the future do not purposely post in the wrong forum just because you think you will get a quicker answer. The only thing quicker that does is irritate us. :thumbsup:
