Hello,
Would anyone know where windows 98 keeps the files I need to backup to hold on to my Outlook Express Address Book and Inbox E-mails?
I need to back this file up so I don't lose any of the information and I can put it into a newly installed Windows 98 box with Outlook Express installed.
Thank you for your input.

The address book is easy. If you hit address book up on the toolbar it brings up this window and under file > export you can output it as a .wab file. And then later import it back in.
The inbox is a little harder... just try searching for inbox.* on your hard drive. I know where they keep the files in 2k/XP but not 9x.

Does anybody know the location on the hard drive for the Outlook Express address book? WinXP. I'm helping somebody redo their new computer and they just have a folder of C: from their old computer. I want to overwrite the new address book with the old one. Need to find it first!!

Try searching for .wab files under their profile.
