Can seperate .js files be viewed in developer tools?

Im just wondering if you can see the script in seperate .js files when viewing an online website. I use developer tools for improving my programming skills not copying any ideas or anything.

If you use Mozilla, when you press Ctrl+U it is opened a page with source code. The .js and .css for external files appear as link that will open the file with that code.
