How do I tell my computer (Windows XP) to stop warning me about low disk space on the X: drive?

free up some disk space, when you have a substantial amount free, then it wont warn you any more... another way is to get rid of XP....otherwise I don't know...

You can check to see if it is running the low disk space program through scheduler. It probably is. Go to the control panel then it is something like scheduled tasks. Open that up and see if it is there, if it is you can right click on it and disable it.

I don't want to free up disk space, I want to dedicate an entire partition to Virtual Memory and I want to keep the warning from coming...

no way

I have the same pb with Windows 98.

I have my disk partitioned into c: and d:
d: is only used for saving my data, so I do not understand why the computer cares if I have less space left. Strange enough, I get this 'disk full' message when I do not even save or change anything on d:.
It also tells me to delete what is in my trash can or temps files, although those are on c:
Grrrr... any ideas ?

Tks

Try this link for information (says it's for Windows 98 but should be good for XP as well):
