Maths questions

so im want to make a simple site that will help my little girl enjoy learning, i have started by putting a few hundred different sums into a database,a column for the sums and another for the answers.

i am able to select a random sum each page load and display it with a text box for the answer and then compare the input to the answer in the database but i can only figure out how to do this one sum at a time.

Can someone please help me come up with a way to display at least 5 different sums then check them all at the same time

Why do you need a database for these?

Have PHP make flashcards for you (that look like real flashcards).
PHP randomly picks numbers (single digit or double digit), addition, subtraction, etc).
It creates a flashcard, and she answers it. And it could be used on an ipod also.
Probably could even be done with javascripting, but PHP could keep track of statistics.
