How To Make Google Custom Search Box Even

First of all... I just joined here as I have problem making the appearance of my Google Custom Search box. And, it seems a lot of coding things going on here, I'm not a coding savvy, but I think I can make this work...just needing some guidance.

Here is what I mean...

I want my Google Custom Search box to look like yours here on this site, the height of the input field is the same as the Search button...

However, in my case it's not what is happening. Instead, the input field is not the same height that of the Search button. I did make any modification on the code which Google provided me after creating it.

Mine looks like this;

Any idea how can adjust the height, so it will be the same height as with Search button?

Hopefully, someone will do...

It might be as the button on here is using a background image, making it seem smaller to fit the height of the search bar. Just guessing anyway.

Yes, without your site link we can only guess at why yours looks different.

If you have Google Adsense then you can get it easily.
Just customize your sear box by make color.
