Google have recently started splashing "use Chrome" to Firefox users that visit their website.

I just noticed now that when I goto google.com, that the side scroll bar is showing, even though there is nothing to scroll.

I wonder if this is a Google dirty trick to 'clutter up' Firefox.

Do people using Chrome see the side scroll bar? What about people using Opera?

Yes JudgementDay, I have experienced the same with Chrome. So that, I have optimized my blog( ICT Blogging (http://www.ictblogging.com) and Public Service (http://www.loksewaexam.com) for Chrome.

The scrollbars look exactly the same on both Chrome and FF for me.

Same here.

I don't see that at all.

Lately, Google has been under fire for doing shady things, so who really knows. hahah

OMG.. how could you all misunderstand me?

I'm not wondering if the scroll bars look the same, I'm wondering if the scroll bars appear at all when people visit google.com using Chrome or Opera etc.

Yes... they appear and are the same as in FF.

OIC... then this isn't a case of dirty tricks, in this instance... rather someone at google.com having a bad day.

Thanks for checking!

Resolved.
