"European Settings"?

So I just had a client tell me that when they viewed a website I built on a virtual desktop of a computer in Europe, the site was distorted.

I've already tested the site in FF, Chrome, IE7-9, and Opera, all just fine. Are there regional settings for different browsers? Or is the client crazy? (the client is crazy anyway, but you know what I mean :P)

With some remote desktop connections, most colors will look different. Ask them what software they use to remotely connect to their computers.
