Hello,

Myself, together with three friends are working on a documentary film about the Chernobyl zone, and for with the film I've built a web site, which we also compete with in a Swedish young-web-dev-thingy, as a way of getting publicity and hopefully winning so we can cover some of our expenses. Also they gave us a free .se (Sweden) domain and free hosting so..

Anyway, this is the site:
http://footprintsofdisaster.se

It's all done with HTML, CSS & JS. No fancy CMS or anything like that, and since it's just me who've done all the design and coding, and since the input from the team is a very limited number of people I'm here to ask for some input on the design and the content. Any input is valuable and highly appreciated.

It is fully compatible and tested with IE9, and the latest versions of Opera, Firefox and Chrome. Hopefully it should work in other browsers aswell.

Thank you.

The first thing I see is … nothing.

Make your website work without requiring JavaScript. There is no reason why it should be completely inaccessible without. Nobody needs (or possibly even cares for) fancy fading and page flipping effects, people probably come to the website because they want information.
