my site is www.hbbweb.com.

I am trying to allign my top menu with the bottom of the header so that it is in line with the bottom of the logo. I want the base of the logo and the base of the menu to sit along the bottom of the header where the color changes.

my menu was alligned along the top of the header. I did find the below code and changed the padding, however this just moves the logo and the menu down. but down not allow me to allign the menu with the bottom.

#header {padding:2px 0 2px;clear:both;position:relative;}

so I added this to my css

#navigation {padding:0 0 2px;clear:both;position:relative;}

that got my menu alligned along the bottom but has created space in between the logo and menu.

How do I remove the vertical blank space so that all of this sits at the same height?

Thanks!

I think it's the clear:both that's your problem. Try:

#navigation {
margin-top: 85px;
padding: 0 0 2px;
position: relative;
}
