I was wondering if you could have more then 1 custom field in paypal IPN, I need to user to enter in more values for the payment like their In-game name and more post fields

Could I do something like this:

<input type="hidden" name="custom" value="TheirUsername" />
<input type="hidden" name="custom2" value="Their ID or something else" />

Is this possible?

I don't believe so. I think it's up to you to store all that stuff on your side.

Is there any specific reason you want to store info on paypal?

One way to do it would be to store all the custom data in a database table and pass the key in the cusom field. All of the required data can then be retrieved via a database lookup using the value from the custom field.

Another alternative is to generate the invoice numbers for the transactions yourself. You can then use the invoice number as the key for the information in the database. You just need to supply the invoice number in the appropriate field for Paypal to use that as the invoice number for its processing. You can then easily match all of the information between what Paypal has and what you have stored using the invoice number and can store as much data as you like for the transaction without even needing to use the custom field.
