My site doesn't preview in Internet explorer but works fine in Firefox

I'm working from a template site in dreamweaver. When I preview it in firefox it works great but the images do not show up in Internet explorer. What are possible causes/fixes for this problem?

How about a link so that we could actually see the problem?

if she's working in dreamweaver probably does not have the site hosted yet and is previewing via debug with firefox as default browser (ie no link) <- assumption

provided my assumption is correct can we see all of your html/CSS?
Also make sure you have a doctype and run your code through validation (HTML and CSS) sites for that ca be found in my signature- Often times issues with IE are due to validation issues and lack of doctype
