hi

Is it possible to break the administrator password which will be asked in the booting setup menu.

I want to access the system setup menu but it asks for a password. can we break it with any dos application?

Open up the case and remove the cmos battery on the motherboard for a few seconds then put it back in.

You can also make short circuit on that battery if it's easier for you
I know that on some motherboards it is quite difficult to take them out

I don't think you'd want to do that.

In any event, most motherboards have a CMOS reset jumper too. So you don't have to take the battery out.

Some motherboards have a small screw that you can use to reset by turning it CW 180 degrees...or something like that.

I seem to remember a picture of a keyboard which had a little switch wired to the motherboard and would reset the cmos every time it was flipped. :D
