View Full Version : How do I un-set a width in IE?

Hi there,

I've got a CSS class which sets the targeted HTML element to a fixed width but in one page I want the width to be unspecified so that it stretches around the content. With Firefox and Chrome, I overrode the value by setting the width to 'auto'. In IE though this makes it take up all available space!

How can un-set the width of an element with IE?

Cheers, Ian.
