Slide Banner - Javascript & CSS

Hey, I would like to include a banner in my next site I am designing - something similar to the slide banner at the top of the main content on this site:

I see it is simple CSS with some javascript. Is the script simple?

Does anyone know where I can get the script from (either free or for a small charge)?

I mailed the person at that site directly but would like to hear what others advise on this sort of thing.
