Your site has some problems. First it looks like you are trying to mix HTML5 with XHTML 1.0. You have some other html errors e.g. you have a div tag before your body tag, your link to your stylesheet is outside of your <head> tags. I suggest you validate your site and fix your errors.

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.305gutters.com&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

I'm not sure what you are wanting us to do. You came here for help and we are telling you what you need to do to fix it. We aren't just going to fix it for you. You need to show us that you are at least trying to fix it on your own. If you don't want to try then you may need to hire a professional.

I'm obviously trying to fix it myself, but I dont understand what it tells me on the validator because it might have to do something with my css also

Well for starters you have

<style type="text/css">

h1{color:white;font-family:Impact;}

h2{color:#003E57;font-family:Magneto;}

h3{color:white; font-family:Elephant;}

a:link {color:white;}

a:visited{color:white;}

a:hover{background-color:#0088FF;

a:active{color:#00DDFF

</style>
in your <body> tag. It doesn't go there. It goes within your <head> tags. I've already told you what else is wrong. Fix those problems. There is also some syntax issue with the above code mainly missing } which I suspect is causing IE to not show your page. And trying to fix it yourself would mean that you actually went off and fixed some of the things I mentioned and then ask specifically about things you don't understand.

But when I move it to put it within my <head> it changes the font and color.

Did you put it after your stylesheet? Have you uploaded your new code?
