IE8 problem

Occasionally when trying to visit some sites using IE8 it just hangs and if I click on the close icon I get the following error message:

This window is busy.
Closing this window may cause some problems.

Do you want to close it anyway?

When I click on OK IE shuts down.

I have done virus & malware scans which show nothing.

Anyone tell me what is causing this and how to stop it? I have re-installed IE8 and it still happens.
I can't install IE9 as it will not work with XP. I want to upgrade when Windows 8 is released.

In the meantime can anyone please help.

Get Google Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome/) :)

I know it is not much of an answer, but Chrome is so much better than other browsers. Plus, you do not want to be using any IE. They don't have very good security

Apart from Opera - Opera is far better than Chrome. Chrome is only the second best browser as there are things that you can do with Opera that Chrome hasn't copied yet.

This could also be your ISP.
