I'd really appreciate it. I found this code for a fluid/fixed/fluid 3-column layout and really hope it will work universally!

<style type="text/css">
body {margin:0;padding:0}
#left_outer {
width:50%;
float:left;
margin-right:-475px;
}
#left{
margin-right:475px;
height:450px;
background-image:url('bkg2.jpg');
background-position:right;
}
#center {
width:950px;
height:450px;
float:left;
position:relative;
z-index:10;
color:#fff;
}
#right_outer {
width:50%;
position:absolute;
right:0;
}
#right {
margin-left:475px;
height:450px;
background-image:url('bkg2.jpg');
background-position:left;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<div id="left_outer">
<div id="left">
</div>
</div>
<div id="center">
</div>
<div id="right_outer">
<div id="right">
</div>
</div>
</body>
</html>

Only problem is the page isn't live and I don't have hosting yet, so I have no URL to enter. Was hoping someone on here would just know how the negative margins like these work from experience. Thanks anyway.
