windows media file to mpg

I created a windows media file, how can i change it to mpg so that I can play it with a mpg player? I have tried changing the extension but it gave me alot of errors. Does anyone know how to convert windows media files into mpg file?

Yes, this should be possible... It will require a couple of small (freeware) encoding programs:
